Art as Paradox:
The process of art is a battle between construction and destruction. In order to construct an object, you must first
deconstruct an object ...a tree must be deconstructed to make paper or a board. Although the structure of the tree's natural
form no longer exists...it's new form exists to construct something else. Like this process, so is art. The
construction of art exists because of destruction.
Art as Cohesion:
However, sometimes construction and
destruction can co-exist. The two forces can work together to process.
While friction may still be evident between the two, it may breed
passive rival in them, calling an aggressive truce, for the time being.
